Phantom 105.2 will be broadcasting live, tweeting and Facebooking from Backstage at  the Electric Picnic Music & Arts Festival: 2010. Join us from 4.30pm on Friday when we go live from the Picnic with thanks to Heineken Music

With the surprise appearance of our long lost friend the sun, festival fever has well and truly gripped Phantom Towers, as we prepare to hit the road to Stradbally for Electric Picnic 2010.

The Phantom 105.2 Crew are on the road once more and gearing up for a weekend long live broadcast from the heart of this year’s festival.  Richie Ryan and Charlotte Flood will kick off proceedings at 4:30pm on Friday afternoon with a special picnic edition of Phantom Drive.  Expect lots of surprise interviews, plenty of laughs, bags of quality tunes and some impromptu live performances as the stars come a knockin’ at the Phantom cabin! 

The broadcast will continue throughout the weekend, with John Caddell and Neil Murray wrapping things up at 4:00pm on Sunday afternoon as we de-rig with heavy hearts and go out and enjoy the end of the festival.

Phantom 105.2 invites you to join our new listener panel  - You.Rock.Dublin! The purpose of the panel is to find out your opinions on Phantom 105.2. We are constantly trying to improve the station and want your help to make it even better. We want to know how you think, act and feel on a range of aspects from programme features to advertisements that you hear on air. We are looking for as many people as possible to commit to sharing their views with us over the coming months.

All information and data collected will be 100% confidential to the station. We would love you to take part in surveys on how Phantom 105.2 can be improved and gauge your reaction to advertising on the station.  The only criteria we have is that you are a Phantom listener and are 18 or older. There will be no more than 2 surveys a month. Don’t worry the surveys won’t be long and boring and will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

To say thanks we will have a monthly draw for all members of the panel and give tickets away to an upcoming event in Dublin. It could be live gig, or a comedy night or even tickets to a festival.

The latest version of the Phantom iPhone App is now available to download from iTunes.  New features include:

-          Album art work for song playing

-          Click to buy track in iTunes – you can buy the music as tyou hear it!

-          Rate the song – you can rate the songs that the hear on a 5 point scale

If you are existing app user you can just update to the latest version in the normal way.  If you want to get the app just search for 'Phantom 105.2' in the iTunes store and download or click onto phantom.ie/app

The app is free to download but data usage charges may apply.  The Phantom App works with iPhone, IPod Touch and iPad devices using OS3.0 or later.
